Theatre in 24 hours? How can this be? Playwrights meet at 7 pm on a Friday night, receive their writing prompts, and then write overnight, delivering their finished short scripts by the next morning. The scripts are then turned over to directors and youth casts for all-day rehearsing with a performance later that night! It's certainly a sight to see, and you don't want to miss it. The Box has produced two 24-hour theatre festivals in 2019 and 2020 and this Weill be its first festival featuring youth performers, age 14-18! The event will be performed virtually.
