ELISE C. BARNETT-CURRAN is a writer, director, producer, and actor from Salt Lake. She is on the board of New World Shakespeare Company and the Chief Executive of Kallisti Theatre Company. She loves comedy and all things absurd, and her favorite film is A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum. She's convinced she was Zero Mostel in a past life.
BRYCE KAMRYN is currently acting in “The Open Syrup," a new-concept serial play being staged at The Box. He appeared in episode 2 (dec 2019) and will soon perform in Episode 4. You can also catch him in the upcoming production of arsenic and old lace with sandy arts guild opening January 31st. Bryce is a local mail carrier for the USPS in bountiful/nsl Utah. He has performed with various theaters around the valley including New world Shakespeare, the box, MMST, A-muses, silver summit theater company, and more.
JIM MARTIN has been theatre since junior high. He is the co-founder of Wasatch Theatre Company, an organization he served on the board of for 22 years. Jim is the Facilities Director at The Box and loves the potential of the space to welcome innovative projects. Jim is an instructional coach in the Granite School District by day. He has a Doctorate in Educational Leadership and Policy and has been a principal in a previous life. RJ WALKER is a performance poet and voice actor from Salt Lake City, Utah. RJ Has performed at the national poetry slam numerous times, representing Salt Lake City, and Sugar House Utah. At the Individual World Poetry Slam he was a showcased poet on final stage and placed 6th overall at the 2017 Individual world poetry slam. RJ won the NPS Spirit of the Slam award for organizing the first Compliment Deathmatch event. The next year he placed 4th at the National Poetry Slam with the Salt City Unified team. He is the host and operator of The Greenhouse Effect Open Mic, SLC’s longest running and most popular open mic style event. His poem, Deceit & I, received viral reception on youtube and imgur, published in journals like A Plus, EMS1, and EMSWorld with over 500,000 cumulative Views.
RJ has narrated over 30 audiobooks and has designed escape rooms and written murder mystery adventures for Mystery Escape Room and Sundance TV. He has written 4 produced plays for Salt Lake Community College, Wasatch Theatre Company, and The Great Salt Lake Fringe Festival. He is an Irene Ryan nominated actor and an ACTF finalist in playwriting. He is also a runner up for the ACTF devised theatre competition and has served as the lead devisor for 3 devised theatre projects. RJ is currently on the creative team for Wasatch Theatre company theatre company, and serves as a playwright in residence.
